Omorovicza Balancing Moisturiser review

I was thrilled to open my lookfantastic Beauty Box and discover a gorgeous glass bottle from Omorovicza inside.

Omorovicza is a luxurious Hungarian skincare brand that have some of the most beautiful formulas that I have tried to date. So to find a pretty substantial bottle of their Balancing Moisturiser inside my Beauty Box was like finding a special treasure.

The Omorovicza Balancing Moisturiser is great for oily and combination skin and the gorgeously soothing and cooling gel-cream formula helps to regulate the production of sebum to avoid shine throughout the day. Whilst controlling oil, it also helps to provide long-lasting hydration, blur the appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. It’s important to note that oily skin needs moisturiser too, it’s just about find the right moisturiser that will deliver hydration without adding oil.

One of the main ingredients within the moisturiser is Hungarian Thermal Water – Omorovicza Cosmetics worked together with a Hungarian Nobel prize winning laboratory and developed and patented the Healing Concentrate that delivers all of the potent minerals occurring naturally in the Omorovicza healing waters deep into the epidermis. It is said to leave skin firmer, more supple and younger looking.

I decided to try out the formula not too long after receiving it in my Beauty Box and instantly enjoyed the texture of the gel-cream. It feels luxurious and nourishing but light at the same time. The scent is very spa-like and quite heavy so if you don’t like strong scents, you might not enjoy this product quite as much.

The moisturiser left my skin feeling soft, hydrated and supple, but most of all, refreshed. I love formulas that don’t feel too heavy and suffocating on the skin but still feel like they’re doing a whole lot of good – this is one of them. I don’t necessarily think this product works to blur the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, but it certainly gives it a moisture boost which in turn can help parched skin to appear a little more plumped and youthful.
