Natural beauty is something that I love the sound of, but never quite stick to myself. A fully fledged makeup geek, there’s nothing I love more than having fun applying my makeup and trying out dramatic and bold looks. But as the Spring and Summer come along, I always try to veer a little closer to the more natural side of beauty. Lighter skin coverage, a glowing complexion, a kiss of bronzer and a beautiful glossy lip is how I envision my perfect summers day look. So I was pleased when I saw that the new April box would allow me to achieve my vision.
This months Lookfantastic Beauty Box is such a beautiful addition to the beauty box collection so far. Jam packed with an arrangement of beautiful products. We all know that great makeup and a glowing complexion starts with amazing skincare, so this box is just the ticket to achieving that perfect base.
I always try to pick out a hero product from each box, and this time, I seriously struggled because there are so many gorgeous products. Reluctantly, I’ll just name the one so that I don’t spoil the unboxing completely! This month, my hero product is the Madara Smart Anti-Oxidants Fine Line Minimising Day Cream. I applied this as soon as I received my box and to say my skin breathed in a sigh of relief is an understatement. It was like I was giving my skin the best treat it’d ever received without me even really knowing that it so needed it. My skin can feel dry and tight after cleansing, and this was like a comfort blanket soaking up into my skin and leaving it feeling refreshed, nourished and well cared for. Imagine getting that first amazing gulp of water when you’ve been out of the house and SO thirsty and desperate for that hit of hydration, and you’re close to feeling how my skin felt when I applied this beauty. It’s formulated for dry to extremely dry skin types and is fortified with ‘smart’ antioxidants including Lichen, Moss and Alchemilla which helps hydrate in order to diminish the first signs of ageing. It’s a wonderful product that i’ve fallen in love with overnight and can’t wait to keep using.
