As autumn is upon us, the Autumn Blogger Tags and posts are starting to do the rounds. You know how much I love a good blogger tag, so I thought I’d join in with the Autumn Blogger Tag from Kammi over at the Beauty Book Blog.
1. Favourite thing about Autumn?
My favourite thing about Autumn is that gorgeous crisp, fresh feeling in the air accompanied by all of the beautiful colours outside! Gorgeous oranges, burned browns and crunchy leaves along with the excitement in the air for Halloween and christmas arriving soon.
2. Favourite Drink?
My favourite autumnal drink has been the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte for such a long time. Yes, I’m adding to the ‘basic bitches’ tag here but I’m not remotely bothered. It’s something I look forward to each year and something I crave once it’s been released! I also really love Hotel Chocolat’s Chilli Hot Chocolate!

3. Favourite Scent/Candle?
I love vanilla, fig and mulberry types of scents along with a little hint of berries too. My favourite scents for autumn are gorgeous warming scents with sweet and musky notes all in one. I’m currently burning a Christmas Cookies candle from Yankee which I love!
4. Favourite Lipstick?
I’m really loving Captive from MAC at the moment, a gorgeous dark satin purple that’s just the right side of deep berry.
5. Go-to moisturiser?
My go-to facial moisturiser is my La Roche-Posay Toleriane moisturiser, and for my body, I love anything thick and nourishing like a body butter. I also use coconut oil most days to moisturise my skin after a bath or shower.

6. Go-to colour for eyes?
I love wearing burned oranges and berry hues all year around, but they’re so perfect for the winter! I mostly use blushers on my eyes as I find them to have a much better colour pay off, but I’m also absolutely loving the Zoeva Cocoa Blend palette and shades from Makeup Geek like Morocco and Chickadee.
7. Favourite music to listen to?
One of my favourite artists to listen to in the autumn is Johnny Cash – my dad introduced me to his records absolutely years ago and I find him so comforting to listen to. If ever I’m poorly and away from home, I always listen to Johnny Cash because it makes me feel like my dad is just that little bit closer to me. We sometimes listen to him on a morning while we have a coffee and honestly, it’s the small things like that that really matter. Aside from Mr Cash, I’ve been loving the autumn playlists over on Spotify that have a lot of folk-type sounds and are mellow and so easy to listen to while I blog away or clean the house. Another go-to artist for me to listen to is Nina Simone, although I tend to listen to her more in the winter months.
8. Favourite outfit to wear?
I love wearing jeggings in the autumn with a pair of boots and knitted jumper. I’m also a huge fan of leather gloves too! I just bought some beautiful new boots from Faith that I’m looking forward to wearing this autumn and winter.

9. Autumn Treat?
My autumn treat differs depending on my mood – usually, I’ll treat myself to a few new homewares for autumn whether that be a new candle or something to sit on my desk. My favourite food treats are my home made parsnip soup along with a warm, crusty roll of bread. I think there’s something so comforting about both cooking and eating a hearty homemade meal.
10. Favourite place to be?
I either love to be out walking with my two dogs, Lily and Alfie, somewhere where we can enjoy the beautiful autumnal leaves, or cosied up at home with my candles burning and the rain beating down on the windows while I listen to Johnny Cash or Nina Simone with a comforting drink!
