This week I had the pleasure of having a one to one session with the amazingly talented Karis at the P Louise Makeup Academy. She showed me how to complete a classic P Louise Asian Bridal look on my beautiful friend Emily! We hotfooted it over to Manchester to meet with Karis at the Academy and go play with some beautiful makeup.

Karis took the reins on Emily’s right hand side and I matched up the look over Emily’s left side using the same products and techniques. I’m not used to seeing Emily wearing a lot of makeup so it was amazing to see her look completely transform and I think she looked absolutely stunning wearing the makeup!

As a makeup artist, I think it’s so important to undertake regular training with different artists whose work you admire – it keeps you current, improves your skills and also teaches you new techniques that you might not have known about previously. I’m a firm believer in working together with other makeup artists to help each other improve and share knowledge. Share the love and go check them out!
