Hello my loves and welcome to my first blog post of the spooky season!
Whilst I was sat planning my ideas for Halloween, I had the sudden idea that I wanted to create a werewolf makeup look. But not just any old werewolf, oh no. This had to be a cheerleader werewolf! The idea was so strong in my head that I just knew I had to pursue it.
I wanted to create two versions of old wolfy, one ‘easier’, ‘prettier’ look, and one all out prosthetics look with all the bells and whistles.
So, on the first week in October, I took to my makeup room and created my first Halloween look of the season!
I had a fantastic time in the studio shooting this look with my Dad (if you don’t know, my dad is a professional photographer of over 30 years). Of course, wolves can’t be confined to the great outdoors, so we soon took to the woods to continue our shoot as the sun set around us.
I couldn’t have planned the look with any better timing, because as we were heading back home that evening, we looked to the sky to see the most beautiful, biggest full moon low in the sky.
And as I looked towards dad, I uttered the words…”I used to be a werewolf. But I’m alright N-AWOOOOOOOO!”
