Gorgeous Rose Gold Birthday Makeup for Rachel

The gorgeous Rachel visited me at the studio this past weekend for a special birthday makeover! Having had to cancel a couple of weeks before due to the snow, I couldn’t believe poor Rachel’s bad luck once again as the UK was swept away in even more snowy blizzards!

This time Rachel thankfully made it to her appointment where we discussed options for her birthday makeup. Rachel was set to wear a gorgeous rose gold dress, so of course, that was our colour theme for the look!

To create Rachel’s gorgeous rose golden eyes, I used the beautiful Peaches and Cream pigment in Rose followed by Inglot’s AMC Pure Pigment Eye Shadow in 119. I then added a little splash of extra golden goodness with my Zoeva eyeshadow in the shade Subtle Blend from Zoeva’s Cocoa Blend palette which gives a beautiful rich golden tone.

To add a little more definition on the outer corners, I used the shade Beans are White from the Cocoa Blend palette that is gorgeously dark and rich.

We finished with a dusting of Inglot’s Intense Sparkler in 12 over the lid. This little product looks beautiful under spot lights and sparkles away so prettily! It’s one of my favourite finishing products to use because the sparkle is so gorgeous. I also added a little of MAC’s Nylon in the inner corner of the eye to open the space and add a beautiful pop of brightness.

As Rachel was heading straight for the train to Newcastle ahead of her birthday evening out, we decided on a slick of balm and a juicy tube for the lips so she could apply her own lipstick on a fresh base later on.
