Halloween makeover in Barnsley with the Sheffield Star

On Friday I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Nik Brear from the Sheffield Star who visited our studio to have a chat with me about the Halloween and SFX work that I do. Nik was kind enough to come and film me making over my model, Chloe, into a gruesome burns zombie and interview me for both the newspaper and an online feature.

I don’t want to say too much in this piece just yet as the feature will be live soon so I’ll save the best bits to share then!

However, here are a few images which were shot afterwards of the gory Halloween look!

The makeup I used was a mixture of products from MAC, Ben Nye and Nimba Creations. The skin texture was created with Third Degree along with a good dose of Robert Smith Silicone Flow Blood, and the contact lenses were purchased from Hunt or Dye.

I had a great time shooting the piece with Nik and Chloe was a very patient model so thank you to you both for a wonderful Friday morning!
