The June 2017 Glossybox arrived as I was in between makeovers in the studio and sat teasing me at my makeup station for over three hours before I could take a look inside.
The wait was worth is as I immediately knew I’d enjoy using the products housed inside as soon as I clocked them. I was also really excited to see a sneak preview of the debut novel by Louise Pentland, perhaps known to you as Sprinkle of Glitter over on YouTube (aloha Sprinklerinos!) I’ve watched Louise over on her YouTube channel for a good while now and really feel like she’s growing with the times and her audience. She’s funny, witty, a little sarcastic (but in the best way) and oh so honest, so I was thrilled to see her novel preview inside the box.
It took me all of half an hour or so to read the full preview and I was well and truly hooked. Cosied up on the sofa on Sunday afternoon, coffee in hand, pick and mix to the side, I worked my way through the preview enjoying each page – I laughed and even shed a tear too. The thing about the book is that it’s so relatable and so endearingly written that it’s very hard to put down. I was disappointed when I reached the end. That disappointed that I went ahead and pre-ordered a copy immediately to be delivered to my Kindle on the launch date of the 29th June. I think it’ll feel like a long wait, but I’m sure it will definitely be worth it!
On to the products. Well, what can I say about this months lovely lot apart from that I’m very happy and will absolutely use (and have been using) each and every single product? Cosy up, grab a drink and get ready to watch my unboxing and mini review below. Don’t forget to hit that thumbs up and subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss any videos in the future.
