Opening this month’s familiar cardboard packaging, I was expecting to see the usual pretty powder pink Glossybox inside. But what I saw instead literally made me go “WOWWWW!” This month, the Let The Sun Shine May Glossybox is a real ray of sunshine!

The most beautifully designed box was beaming up at me and I couldn’t have felt more uplifted.

This month’s Glossybox is worth £50 and comes with five (four full size, one deluxe mini) amazing summer beauty must-haves.

The stunning design alone is just perfect for the summer months. From the dual-toned sunset and blue sky hues, right to the gorgeously foiled sun, the box design just makes me feel happy inside. Those shiny happy feelings continued as I opened the box and soaked in the perfectly themed ribbon and tissue paper.

I can’t stress enough how beautifully presented the Glossybox is every month, but these special edition boxes are just on another level. It’s the attention to detail that I really love that makes the boxes just feel extra special and like a luxurious treat. Which they certainly are.

I’m sure that you can guess that the theme of the box this month is all about helping us to feel radiant ahead of the the summer months. And with a perfect curation of summery, refreshing products, I can just about smell the Pina Colada’s already.

What’s inside the Let The Sun Shine Edition box?

From a rapid recovery after sun gel from Minetan, right through to the most stunning metallic gold eyeshadow from Lottie London (it feels SO buttery and smooth and packs the biggest metallic punch I’ve seen in a product in a long time!)

Then there’s a beautiful (and natural!) lemon shower gel from Kueshi. I’ve never really been a huge fan of fresh, citrus scented products: I’ve always gone for those sugary sweet scents instead. But as soon as I popped the top on the Kueshi lemon shower gel, I was well and truly sold. I can’t even describe how downright delicious this natural shower gel smells. Like the most gorgeous fresh lemon drizzle cake or freshly squeezed lemons for the perfect thirst-quenching lemonade on a balmy, hot day. Have I convinced you to try it yet? Trust me, you won’t be disappointed.

Another amazing product in the May Glossybox is the Rodial Dragon’s Blood Eye Masks. Gorgeously refreshing and super hydrating. I also can confirm that they won’t slide down your cheeks if you dare to stand or move whilst wearing them like some brands do. I’ve tried these beauties in the past, and I’m so happy to have a fresh pair. I don’t know about you, but I’m starting to feel the effects of hay fever already, and I know how soothing and cooling these will feel when I’m in need of a little eye pamper.

Lastly, we have a a beautiful eye definer liner by Ciate. With a built in sharpener, your liner will be forever precisely pointed. I can’t wait to try this in my waterline during the summer months for a beautifully soft brightening effect.
