Lily and I are very excited by this gorgeous delivery!

Lily and I are very excited by this gorgeous delivery!

This morning I’ve had a gorgeous delivery of the most beautifully pigmented eyeshadows and sparkling glitters. Although we’re only in October, my mind is fast-forwarding to thinking about Christmas makeovers which have already started to fill my diary.

I’m so happy to say that I am now offering the amazing LIT Cosmetics glitters as part of my makeup kit to bring you gorgeous girls some festive sparkle to your makeovers throughout the Autumn and Winter months.

In case you haven’t heard about LIT Cosmetics, I’ll tell you a little about them. As their website says:

“The idea for Lit has roots back in 2001 when Jodie Perks, the owner/inventor of Lit Cosmetics, was slinging drinks in the night clubs around Calgary. Having always been a fan of fun makeup and a little “bling, bling”, Jodie felt the need to be a little different from the rest of the girly girls serving up drinks. That’s when she hit on the idea of glitter eye makeup!

“No glitter, no glory” is our motto—fun, yet true. Being in “glitterology” (the science of glitter) for 6 years we have improved glitter/loose colour makeup as it is sold in the market today. With our liquid adhesive now perfected, we have also broken down our pigments into 4 different sizes and 4 different varieties-Lit simply specializes in glitter/loose colour makeup. Remember: There are no rules when it comes to Lit! From a single colour highlighter to having 10 shades blended over your eyelids-we dare you… Let the fun begin, and your creativity soar!”

Glitters and pigments galore

One of the reasons why I love these glitters so much is because they are made from rounded plastic which means you’ll never have to worry about the glitter irritating the delicate eye area which is obviously a huge bonus. Any ladies who have had to endure that horrible gritty, scratchy feeling of stray glitter in the eye area will know just how much this can ruin your evening and indeed your makeup look!

In the coming weeks, I’ll be using the glitters and pigments to create new autumnal and festive looks which I will of course share with you all!

Gorgeously high pigmented loose eyeshadows from peaches and Cream

Gorgeously high pigmented loose eyeshadows from peaches and Cream. How cute is the packaging?

Let’s move onto the pigments…these are from the quirky and inspiring salon based in Liverpool called Peaches and Cream. Stylish Liverpool ladies and even ladies from all over the UK travel over to the Peaches and Cream salon to be peached up by the amazingly talented staff and have their hair and makeup perfected ahead of their big nights out or special occasions. They’re a company who I’ve followed for a while and their makeup looks are always flawless and the technical precision is just astounding. These girls know their makeup and know exactly how to create red carpet worthy looks for everybody. I’ve always loved the eyeshadows they’ve shown online so I decided to buy some for my own kit and try them out – the colour payoff from the shades I’ve received today is just stunning. Deep, rich and beautifully sparkly. I’m sure they’ll be an absolute stellar addition to my makeup collection.
