Lookfantastic have been teasing us for a good while over on Instagram with photographs of a mysterious makeup brand set to launch on their site. I had a sneaky feeling that the first gorgeous lip colour they showed was from MAC, and thought it looked suspiciously like my old favourite, Velvet Teddy. Lookfantastic took away the suspense and finally announced that they would be launching none other than MAC Cosmetics on their website on 5th June.
The launch will see over 2,500 products over 37 categories including brushes, lipsticks and the Prep + Prime range (which I use in my professional makeup artistry kit). Lookfantastic will also be stocking limited edition and new product ranges, so that gives customers another chance of getting their hands on the beautiful launches which notoriously sell out at the speed of light both online and in store. I remember joining the queue a hour before my local MAC store opened when they launched the Cinderella collection, and I kid you not, I was more than 60th in the line and one of the lipsticks had already sold out before I made it to the front.
