Makeup Crush Monday: Nikkie Tutorials

Welcome to the first instalment of a new series of posts – Makeup Crush Monday! Just like the ‘Woman Crush Wednesday’ #WCW hashtag on Twitter, I thought I’d make up my own but for my latest makeup crushes!

I decided to set up these series of posts as there are so many talented makeup artists online that I absolutely adore, and I’d love to share their work with you all as a little inspiration. My first Makeup Crush Monday is the amazing Nikkie tutorials!

I first discovered Nikkie over on YouTube back when Pixiwoo were really starting to hit the big time, her passion for makeup came across in every single video and each look was just pure precision and I absolutely loved her creativity. I subscribed to her channel right away and still drop whatever I’m doing to sit and watch her video once a new upload hits my subscription box! From seriously glam, full coverage looks to terrifying Halloween offerings, Nikkie’s got me covered.

Nikkie’s YouTube channel ended up being the Netherlands’ number one most subscribed and watched beauty channel and it’s really not hard to see why. Nikkie is probably most well known for her ‘Power of Makeup’ video that was inspired by Ru Paul’s Drag Race, and absolutely exploded over the internet leaving other beauty vloggers, makeup artists and beauty lovers showcasing their half natural, half made up faces. Working with amazing influencers such as Jeffree Star and Kat Von D, Nikkie’s channel has some pretty outstanding content and since I first started watching, she’s just gone from strength to strength.

I absolutely love watching Nikkie’s tutorials and her outgoing personality make her not only fun to watch, but also really endearing too. For both glamorous and creative makeup looks, check out Nikkie’s YouTube channel.
