Merumaya Everything Everywhere Beauty Oil review

I’m not usually the biggest fan of beauty oils. I find that most of them break my skin out within a couple of days and I’ve struggled to find oils with a consistency that I enjoy using on my face. My favourite to date is my Dr Organic Vitamin E Pure Oil Complex that I use pretty much all over my body. Not only does it make the perfect massage oil for my face, but it also works wonders for my cuticles, elbows and knees.

I’ve been using the Dr Organic Vitamin E Pure Oil for a fair old while now and didn’t think I’d necessarily find another oil that would wow me enough to make it into my daily routine. That was before I was introduced to the Merumaya Everything Everywhere Beauty Oil.

I received the cutest little sample of the oil at a Party Makeup Masterclass with Armand Beasley over at Sandersons in Stocksbridge. I was hesitant to try it at first because of my experiences with other oils, and after just getting my skin to a good condition thanks to Accutane, I didn’t want to cause any problems. But after reading through the information about the oil and seeing the rave reviews it’d received in the past, I wanted to give it a go.

The oil is made with a gorgeous blend of nutritious oils which consist of Cacay Oil, Jojoba Oil and Grapeseed Oil. Cacay Oil is known for containing 50% more Vitamin E than Argan Oil so it’s great for anti-oxdiant protection and known to be nourishing for the skin. It also contains double Linolec Acid which is an Essential Fatty Acid which helps to repair the skin, and has three times more natural retinol (an ingredient that’s abuzz in the beauty world right now) which can reduce stretch marks and improve skin elasticity.

The oil can be used all over the body – from moisturising the face, brows, lashes and cuticles, to being used in the bath to nourish the skin as you bathe. It can also be used as a scalp and hair treatment or as an overnight hand and foot treatment. Basically, the oil is very much multi-purpose and can be used for so many different beauty treatments.

I used the oil for the first time around two weeks ago and immediately loved how it felt on my skin. I used a few drops and massaged it around my face after my evening skincare routine and loved both the texture and the soft scent. The oil absorbed into my skin quickly, and I was so happy that it didn’t leave my face looking wet, shiny and feeling uncomfortable. Instead, my skin looked plumped from the massage and glowing thanks to the oil. It didn’t feel oily on the surface at all and I was more than happy to put my head down onto my pillow after just a few minutes of working this into my skin.

The next day I woke up to soft skin without any trace of irritation and thank goodness, no breakouts!

I’ve been really enjoying using this oil occasionally for a couple of weeks now. At £29.50 for 50ml, it’s brilliant value for money considering the ingredients and the multi-uses that this gorgeous oil carries.
