The beautiful sunny weather we’ve been recently blessed with in the UK has seen us all switch our moods up into a summery vibe. Golden glowing skin, dewy makeup and coconut scented body lotions have been just what the doctor ordered and the well overdue sunshine has been a welcome change to the usual blustery weather we’ve just about gotten sick of. Just recently, I received a beautiful multi-usage dry oil from one of my favourite brands in my Lookfantastic Beauty Box – the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse Or. It came just in the nick of time and is absolutely stunning ready for summer BBQ’s, nights out and trips to the beach.
If you’ve read my blog before, you’ll know how much I love Nuxe. I was introduced to the brand by Lookfantastic a good while ago when I received one of their face creams in my beauty box. I loved the smell and the way the cream felt on my skin so when I ran out, I was really sad. I was so pleased to find out that the Nuxe Body Oil smells exactly the same as the face cream so that each time I use it, I’m transported back to Christmas time and my head is filled with lovely memories.
The Nuxe Dry Gold Oil has a super-activated formula that combines 30% of precious plant oils (orage, St Johnswort, sweet almond, camellia, hazelnut, macadamia) and vitamin E to nourish and repair the face, body and hair. As this is a dry oil, it doesn’t feel oily or sticky on the skin at all which is a huge bonus – the last thing you want in the hot weather is to feel oily!
The oil isn’t particularly glittery, but instead, it has beautiful small golden particles that help the skin to shimmer and glitter softly and gives you that gorgeous summery glow. You can see how gorgeous the glow is from the image above.
I use the oil to add a subtle glow to my chest, shoulders, arms and legs. I’ve also used it on my hair before, but I prefer to use it on my body as I love the subtle healthy glow it gives to my skin. The
I’m so pleased with the dry oil – it’s one of those products that isn’t really classed as an essential, but a beautiful little sprinkle of luxury that I’d truly miss if I didn’t have in my makeup bag.
