I was so thrilled to find out yesterday that I had been Highly Commended as the Best Wedding Beauty Supplier of the Year with the Bridebook Wedding Awards 2017!
I was so excited that I spent most of the day in disbelief and with a huge smile on my face. The Bridebook Wedding Awards was entered by over 70,000 professional wedding suppliers, so to come Highly Commended in my category is just such an achievement. As a humble business originating from Barnsley, it was a complete shocker to me that the Bridebook judges recognised my work alongside some of the most amazing makeup artists that I truly admire in the industry. It absolutely means the world to me and once again, I want to thank all of you wonderful people that voted for me, supported me and sent me lovely messages of encouragement. From clients to family, friends, my local newspaper and even my wonderful social media followers, I truly appreciate your belief and support and I couldn’t have gotten to the judging stage without you all.
The winner of the Best Beauty Supplier of the Year was the wonderful Amazing-Face Bridal Hair and Makeup from Dorset, and also Highly Commended was Make Up by Jenni. Two absolutely amazing makeup companies with beautiful work to show for their dedication to their craft. There were some incredible wedding beauty suppliers in my category and I am so proud to have been listed alongside them for the finals.

Being a part of the Bridebook Wedding Awards 2017 has not only given my business some amazing recognition, but it has also allowed me to digitally ‘meet’ and become friends with so many wonderful professional wedding suppliers in the industry. I’m so proud and pleased for all of the suppliers that took part in the awards, won awards or commendations, it’s amazing to see so many talented and passionate businesses out there completely dedicated to making wedding days that extra special for couples.
Thank you once again to all who have supported me through this exciting experience, and a huge thank you to Bridebook and their amazing team who have been completely wonderful, supportive and encouraging. I’m so proud to be able to display my Highly Commended badge across my social media! It’s the first competition that I’ve ever entered for my Bridal work so to have received the commendation is just incredible to me. Thank you.
