Scentful: The Designer Perfume Subscription Box review

When Scentful approached me on Instagram and asked me if I’d like to try one of their monthly fragrance subscription boxes, I jumped at the chance! If you’ve read my blog for a while or follow me over on YouTube, you’ll know that I absolutely love beauty subscription boxes.

There’s something so luxurious about receiving a gorgeous gift box right to your door every month, with beauty treats just for you to indulge in.

I was so excited to receive the October Scentful box and share my thoughts with you.

What is Scentful?

In short, Scentful is a UK monthly fragrance subscription box. Each month, the stylish little box features luxury fragrances for women (men’s fragrances are coming soon!) from brands such as Tom Ford, Gucci, Armani and many more. The family-run business (who are based in the lovely Somerset in the UK!) pride themselves on offering only 100% authentic fragrances, and will never send out cheaper, celebrity-branded fragrances.

How does it work?

Simply choose from a 1, 3, 6 or 12 month plan (the longer you commit for, the lower the cost). Your lovely Scentful box will arrive by the 7th of each month provided that you order before the 24th of the previous month. The box is compact, so it easily fits through the letterbox so you don’t have to worry about signing for deliveries – a big plus! Each month, you’ll receive two surprise 5ml viles of designer fragrance, and an information card about each scent.

Monthly £13.95 per month
3 months £12.95 per month
6 months £11.95 per month
12 months £10.95 per month

How much perfume will I get?

You’ll get two 5ml viles of fragrance which should last you at least 30 days. Combined, the viles should provide you with around 160 sprays, which allows for approximately 5 sprays per day over the month – plenty to have you smelling amazing from the morning until the evening, even if you like to douse yourself in your scents like me! You can’t choose your scents, but rest assured, you’ll always be getting 100% authentic, designer fragrances.

What’s in the October Scentful box?

The October box couldn’t be more fitting for me. I was pleased to see that I’d received two perfumes which I haven’t tried in the past: Jimmy Choo’s Fever, and Thierry Mugler’s Angel Muse. I’d tried scents from the two brands in the past, but not these in particular, and let me tell you, they are both right up my street!

Jimmy Choo Fever
This gorgeous eau de parfum smells absolutely divine. I tend to be drawn to scents with Sandalwood that are quite sensuous, and sexy with a musky oriental vibe, and this scent has it in abundance. It’s the kind of scent that you just can’t get enough of and want to keep smelling. I love that I kept getting gentle wafts of it through the day, and I love that I had so many lovely compliments on the scent too!

Thierry Mugler Angel Muse
Manfred Thierry Mugler has always been somebody I have looked up to. Right back in my fashion college days, I’d put inspiration boards together from his catwalk collections and really loved his decadent, dramatic style. Naturally, I instantly fell for his perfumes and their elaborate bottles too – particularly the Alien scents!

Angel Muse is another gorgeously sensual scent, so there’s no wonder I fell in love with this one too.

The scent lasts beautifully throughout the day, and I love that you get gentle wafts of it each time you move.

Would I recommend Scentful?

Absolutely! I think Scentful is a great idea if you’re open to trying out new fragrances and love to switch your scents up. Plus, the 5ml viles are so handy for taking out and about in your bag.
