This month I have a whole host of new beauty favourites to share with you, along with an old favourite that I repurchased again on impulse. Back in my school and college days, I used to love wearing L’Oreals True Match Mineral foundation. It always gave a lovely finish to my skin and made me feel fresh faced whilst giving me a great coverage at the same time. A couple of weeks ago I was browsing the aisles in Boots over in Leeds and decided to buy another tub to try it out again and see if anything had changed.
Some things never change – the formula is still great and gives an amazing coverage whilst feeling light on the skin, I still spill it all over myself and make a huge mess, and I still love how fresh it looks on my skin. But then again, some things do change – the foundation lasts longer on my skin than it ever did and it no longer gives me a grey cast across my face (one of the reasons I stopped using it!) I’m so pleased I decided to pick a new tub up and I’ve been seriously enjoying using it all over again over the past week or so. L’Oreal have fast become a favourite drugstore brand of mine, and when it comes to foundations, I seriously think they’re comparable to MAC but for a fraction of the cost.
