I always love when I get a face mask or the like in my beauty box subscriptions, and the March Lookfantastic and Elle Edit Beauty Box came through with an eye mask from STARSKIN. I’ve used facial sheet masks from STARSKIN in the past, and I’ve really enjoyed them, so I knew that the Eye Catcher Smoothing Coconut Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Eye Mask would be a goodie.
I kept hold of the mask for a few weeks and waited until I had an important date to attend where I wanted to look wide awake and refreshed. I put the packet of eye masks in the fridge for ten minutes while I made breakfast and a coffee, then applied the eye masks to my cleansed, dry skin. I toddled off back to bed for breakfast and a catch up with the news. There’s nothing I love more than starting my day off with a little pamper routine, even on work days. I love getting up really early and enjoying a steady morning full of beauty routines, a relaxing breakfast and time to read the news and watch a few of my favourite YouTubers, along with having a few extra cuddles from my two pooches, Lily and Alfie, of course. It’s my absolute favourite way to start the day and makes me feel refreshed, revitalised and ready to face the world.

A great thing about the STARSKIN face mask sachets is that there’s always plenty of serum left in the packet, which means that I have a fair bit left over to pat into the rest of my skin after removal, and also proves that you’re getting great value for your money too (the masks are £8.50 and can be found here).
So, let me tell you a little about the eye masks. They’re shaped perfectly to fit around the contour of the eyes and are formulated with a signature balance of naturally fermented, vitamin rich Coconut Juice which is known for it’s super hydrating properties. The masks also contain Adenosine and Liquorice Root Extract to smooth wrinkles and brighten the appearance of the eye area, and a blend of Allantoin and Chamomile work together to moisturise the skin and relieve any irritation or puffiness.
With hay fever on the rise (tree pollen can be particularly bothersome at this time of year), and my ridiculous sensitivity to pollen, the masks were a welcome relief to the tired, stingy and puffy eyes that I can sometimes wake up to.

The eye masks are almost invisible on the skin, and fit that well that they don’t tend to slip around much like some facial sheet masks can. I found that I could eat, drink and talk without the masks sliding around at all, which was a bonus, because if you know me, you know I love a good old chat…
After around 15 minutes or so, I took the eye masks off and gently patted the remaining serum over my eyelids and under my eye area, and also used a little of the serum that was left over the whole of my face which felt so cooling and soothing. My eyes were left feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and soothed.
I went on to apply my usual Vitamin E Complex oil before applying my makeup and was really pleased with how smoothed and refreshed my eyes felt.
I loved using the STARSKIN Eye Catcher eye masks and I would 100% purchase them again. I also think they’d be amazing to use on my gorgeous bridal clients before their big day to give them an extra little pamper.
