Welcome to my post all about my top three eyebrow products. Ever. Eyebrows haven’t always been an important factor in my life. I know, shocker right? Back when I was in school, and even the early college days, my brows were virtually non-existant. And I don’t mean because they were over-plucked or anything like that, oh no. They were just so blonde that you couldn’t even see them so I constantly had no expression to my face. In the later college years, I took to filling my brows in myself but to be honest, they weren’t anything remotely aesthetically pleasing.
Come 2013, I had my eyebrows tattooed which was the best thing I’ve ever done for my face. Expression be mine!
Anyway, I’ve come a long way since 2013 and tried my fair share of eyebrow products – some disastrous and some magnificent! Today, I want to share my three little gems with you that I love and of which I’m very loyal to when it comes to my brow game. Let’s crack on with numero uno!
No7 Beautiful Eyebrow Sculpting Pencil £8 Boots
You might remember the meltdown I had over this glorious little pencil when they first changed up the design from a pencil you had to sharped to the new fandagled design which sported an ever sharp angled pencil with a twist-up design. I was very unhappy and didn’t want to deviate from what I’d used in the past – what can I say? This only child doesn’t like change. Anyway, begrudgingly, I bought new version and had to swallow my cynicism when I realised it was absolutely bloomin’ amazing! The pencil stays angled so you can get that sharp brow tail, the colour is fab and I’m so happy it includes a spoolie on the other end of the pencil just like the old one. I use this if I want a more natural, yet defined brow. Read my No7 Beautiful Eyebrows Sculpting Pencil review here.
Illamasqua Precision Brow Gel £18.50 Illamasqua
Praise the gods of Illamafia! This product has become a firm favourite since I first tried it in January this year. A pomade for the brows which is wonderfully defining, gorgeously pigmented and wears all day long without a hard or crusty feel to the brows. I was recommend to try the shade Glimpse and it’s just a perfect match to my hair colour. Applied with my Sigma E65 Small Angle Brush, it’s the stuff of Instaglam dreams. Sometimes I wear this just on the tail of my brows, but sometimes I prefer to go full on fleek and use it for the full length. Come through bitchy resting face. Come through. Toppik Brow Building Fibers Set £14.95 Toppik
We’ve all seen the hype over the Younique Fiber Lash mascara, and most of us are, quite frankly sick of it (I speak for myself here – I get bombarded by reps daily!) Anyway, when I was first told about the Toppik Brow Building Fibers set, I was intrigued. I’d never heard of fibers for the brows before and I couldn’t wait to give it a try. I won’t like, I was flabbergasted when I saw how amazingly natural it looked on my brows, how well it suited my hair colour and just how defined it left my brows too! Sometimes I wear this totally on it’s own when I’m on a natural vibe, or sometimes I wear it at the beginning of my brow and use my Illamasqua Brow gel on the ends to get the best of both worlds. You might think this sounds like a gimmicky product, but trust in your girl, it’s a goodie. Read my Toppik Brow Building Fibers Set review here.
So there you have it, my top three eyebrow products. Ever. Give them a go if you want amazing brows daily!
