Vlog: Unboxing the January 2020 Glossybox

Welcome to my first beauty box unboxing of 2020, beauties! Can you believe that it’s time for the January 2020 Glossybox already? I certainly can’t.

My curiosity got the better of me this month, so I found myself watching a few sneak previews of this month’s Glossybox. I was really excited for it to arrive, to say the least. There’s a great mix of practical beauty goodies, along with a couple of skincare saviours and even a treat to eat on the go. Although, I’ll have to pass on the treat as it contains nuts which I’m highly allergic to.

It was so nice to be able to sit and film a vlog-style unboxing video today. I’ve been itching to get in front of the camera again and catch up with my amazing family of subscribers over on YouTube. I really do have a lovely community on there, and I’m pleased to say that trolling doesn’t happen all too often on my videos anymore.

Anyway, back to the box. My hero product of the box this month has to the be Strawberry Booster (how delicious does that sound?) by Bybi (pronounced like bye-bee. I know, I pronounced it wrong in the video!) The cold-pressed oil is actually made from upcycled seeds from the juice industry (how cool!) and is said to be the secret to softer and brighter skin. It’s rich in antioxidants and omega 3 and 6, and can be added into day creams, BB creams or even foundations if you don’t want to use it neat.

How fun is the dropper bottle and the gorgeous colour – it reminds me of the summer months (and Love Island) that we’ve got to look forward to. Talking of Love Island, are you looking forward to the winter series starting this Sunday? I can’t wait! Although it will feel very strange watching it on cold, dark nights snuggled up with a hot chocolate as opposed to wearing as little as is socially acceptable whilst devouring mint choc chip ice creams. Yum!

I won’t go into detail about the rest of the lovely products in the box or that would ruin my video completely. I hope that you enjoy watching my vlog and learning more about the Sleep & Refresh edition of the Glossybox!
