I’ve recently been talking about just how much I love BB creams in the summer months and those days where you don’t want a full face of makeup, but still want to smooth out any imperfections and look fresh-faced. I also mentioned that I find it hard to find a BB cream that not only gives me a great coverage, but stays on my skin all day long without looking shiny or sliding away.

Dead Sea Spa Magik Diamond Range BB Cream Review
I was thrilled to receive the Dead Sea Spa Magik Diamond Range BB Cream in my most recent Lookfantastic Beauty Box and used it for the first time the very next day. I had high hopes for the BB cream after swatching it in my unboxing video and seeing how good the colour match was for me, along with the satin finish.
The BB cream is an anti-ageing formula that has pure plant extracts and antioxidant vitamin E. It also delivers SPF 15 to help to protect the skin. It promises to stimulate collagen product and minimise the appearance of fine lines. Something I definitely won’t complain about!
The first thing I noticed when I applied the BB cream was the lovely fresh scent that lingered for a while. Not too strong to be overpowering or offensive, but strong enough to remind me of holidays and summertime! The cream blended beautifully into my skin after I applied it just like I would with a moisturiser, and I was surprised to realise that the BB cream was actually buildable, so after two layers, I had a good, even coverage and my pores did seem to appear minimised.

Dead Sea Spa Magik Diamond Range BB Cream Review
I didn’t powder the BB cream, but I did add my powder blush, bronzer and highlighter along with a little natural eye makeup and lipgloss. As a girl who usually has to powder foundation and BB creams into place, I was seriously impressed when I checked the mirror hours later to find my skin looking fresh, radiant but not at all greasy or shiny. It gave my skin that lovely glow that’s usually pretty hard to fake for us oilier girls without looking extremely shiny!

Dead Sea Spa Magik Diamond Range BB Cream Review
The BB cream stayed in place for a good eight hours and looked fresh and felt comfortable on my skin. I feel that impressed with it that I’m happy to say it’s one of the best BB creams I’ve ever used. And I’ve used a lot! I’ve worn the cream for the past few days now and it’s withstood busy makeover days, running through town in the wind and rain and even an afternoon of cleaning.
The BB cream retails at £13.50 and is available from Lookfantastic here. I’ll definitely be re-stocking on this when I run out!
