Dramatic pink cut smokes makeup look for Valentine’s Day

As a makeup artist, it’s my job to cater to my clients needs and create the makeup look that they’re dreaming of on their appointment. My gorgeous client Kirsty came along to the studio for her makeup applying ready for her Saturday night out and asked for a dramatic cut smoke with a pink accent. I absolutely love it when my clients ask me for more dramatic, creative makeup as it gives me the chance to do something a little out of the ordinary.

Most of my work is bridal, or natural but polished makeup which I love applying, but it’s always fun to have a little dramatic look in between too. It keeps me on my toes and allows me to experiment with different colours and styles.

This look was created using eyeshadows from Make Up Geek, MAC and Zoeva with a gorgeous blush from Tilt makeup to give the pink accent.

We teamed the look with a gorgeous berry lip, a swirl of bronzer and a gorgeous helping of Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm which is my number one highlight at the moment.

I think this look is absolutely perfect for Valentine’s Day thanks to the pink accent and berry lips, but equally gorgeous for any other occasion too!

Whatever you’re doing this Valentine’s Day, have an amazing day. And if you haven’t got a significant other to celebrate with, celebrate YOU instead!
