There’s nothing I love more than a bit of glitter, and with the Christmas party season upon us, it’s the perfect excuse to incorporate it into my makeup looks. This time, I fancied trying a winged eyeliner which is something I’ve actually never done before. I had a gorgeous silver glitter eyeliner stick that I’d only ever used to add a little sparkle into the inner corner of my eyes, so thought now was a great time to try it out!

I applied a gorgeous maroon shadow as a transition shade and packed on the black to make an ultra dark smokey eye before adding the glitter winged liner. I applied around 4-5 coats of the glitter liner to make it look beautifully dense and sparkly before pronouncing the wing shape with a little black liner and tidying the edges with a cotton bud.

Glitter liner is the perfect way to wear a dark smokey eye if you don’t really want to commit to full dark eyes, but want a really gorgeous deep, party look.
