Welcome to the December 2016 Lookfantastic Beauty Box Unboxing! I was so excited for the December #LFXMAS box to arrive as I knew the Lookfantastic team would have gone all out to bring us some essential festive season goodies.
What I really love about this box in particular is the fact that Lookfantastic have catered for both the social butterflies and the warm and cosies – there’s something in the box for everybody from pre-party preparations to christmassy night in essentials.
I’m still so full of cold and have just gotten out of hospital so please excuse my somewhat irritating voice in the video, I;ve tried my best not to sound too rough!
My hero product of the box this month (and one I’ve tried since filming the video) is the amazing Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. Somewhat of a cult product in the beauty world, this amazing product is a pre-shampoo treatment that is highly concentrated and designed to smooth hair leaving it supple and soft and also delivers sunscreen protection. Elasticizer is described as ‘the weekly thirst quencher your hair needs to beat dryness’ and I totally agree with this. The idea is to wet the hair then apply the Elasticizer evenly throughout the hair, leave for 3 minutes then rinse away and follow with your usual shampoo and conditioning treatments. For very dry hair, you can leave the product on for ten minutes whilst the hair is wrapped in a plastic cap. Instantly beautiful, soft hair and perfection in a bottle!
