Looking for scary clown Halloween makeup? Well my dears, you’ve come to the right place!
We’ve finally arrived at that glorious time of the year where it’s obligatory to get a little bit spooky! If you’ve followed me for a while you’ll know how much I love, no, ADORE Halloween! It’s one of my favourite times of the whole year and something I’m giddy about as soon as there’s faint sniff of autumn in the air.
As you’ll maybe already know, each year I try to add a new character or two to my Halloween repertoire. This year, it was the turn of Mr Zeebo!
I first started daydreaming about Mr Zeebo one rainy autumn day a couple of years ago. Suddenly inspired to start sketching, I picked up my sketchbook and got to work. By the time Halloween came around and my client work was over and done with, poor Mr Zeebo had been well and truly shelved for the year.
It wasn’t until I was embarking on a huge clear-out of my ‘random bits and bobs’ drawers that I came across my sketchbook once again and was reunited with old Zeebs. I just knew that this year was HIS year.
It’s just perfect that Mr Zeebo has made his appearance this year – what with film greats like IT Chapter 2 and Joker hitting the big screen, it seems to be the Season of the Clown.
As with all of my Halloween characters, I love to come up with some sort of back story so I can really get a feel for the characteristics they have. It comes in very handy when deciding how to pose or what outfits to dress my little monsters up in. Here’s Mr Zeebo’s story:
Forced into the freakshow, Mr Zeebo found himself the centre of cruelty and judgement from all who cast their gaze upon him. In the midst of a terrible storm one autumn night, Mr Zeebo made his escape. He got to work seeking his insidious revenge on those who wronged him by taking away their eyes so they may never see to mock anybody again. An eye for an eye…
