Nuxe Creme Fraiche de Beaute 48HR Moisturising Cream review

Nuxe is one of my favourite brands when it comes to skincare. I’ve talked about them before in the past and raved about the gorgeous formulas that are kind skin. I first fell in love with Nuxe a fair old while ago when I was introduced to their Prodigieuse Anti-Fatigue moisturising cream and Huile Prodigieuse Golden Shimmer Dry Oil. I instantly loved the scent, the feel of the the products on my skin and how they made my skin look too.

When the Creme Fraiche de Beaute arrived in my lookfantastic Beauty Box, I was so excited to try it out. The familiar scent soon enveloped me and took me right back to using the products the very first time. I find Nuxe to be a very nostalgic brand for me!

This particular cream is for dry skin and contains plant milks and algae extract for up to 48 hours of hydration. It soothes and protects skin from pollution and keeps skin looking fresh, nourished and velvety all day long. It contains active ingredients made up of Plant Milk, Almond and Orange White flowers, Allantoin, Organic Shea and Moringa Butters and is scented with Petitgrain, Orange Blossom and Cedar. The moisturiser is made up of at least 93.3% of natural origin ingredients.

The moisturiser feels really creamy and nourishing without feeling too heavy and seems to soak into my skin within seconds. It doesn’t feel tacky or sticky after application but still feels like a comfort blanket across my skin. It makes a gorgeous pre-makeup primer as well as a beautiful overnight moisturising cream and leaves my skin feeling soft, soothed and smooth.

I knew from the start that I’d love this offering from Nuxe and I’m really looking forward to trying more products out from the range in the future.
