Zombie Bride Halloween Makeup

Introducing the Zombie Bride! Jilted at the aisle by her star crossed lover, the zombie bride has haunted the churchyard for over 1000 years, exacting her revenge on anybody that dare cross her path. Our Miss Havisham of the underworld with an added streak of malice…

As soon as the weather starts to turn and there’s a faint sniff of autumn in the air, my mind turns to Halloween! I’d been planning on adding a zombie bride to my Halloween character collection since last year, so I went ahead ahead and bought in all the kit that I needed to create my new monster!

I usually model the looks myself, but this time, I enlisted the beautiful Fern to come along and model the look for me. It was the first time I’d met Fern – she’d applied to my Facebook casting call, and I was so glad to have chosen her. She was the perfect model!

After the makeup application, Fern to the set in the Divers Photography studio for her gory photo shoot! You can see the images below.

I absolutely loved creating this character – it was great to get back to gory, SFX work once again ahead of the spooking season!
