December was an exciting month for many reasons, not only did it mean Christmas, but this year, it meant that I could open a box on my Charlotte Tilbury World of Legendary Parties advent calendar each second day!
Throughout the month I was introduced to some beautiful new products, but a few have become firm favourites and todays I’m going to share with you all is the Legendary Lashes mascara.
I’m pretty sure that I mentioned this in a favourites video back in December as it quickly shot to ‘favourite’ status after a few times of wearing it, but here’s the full lowdown on this gorgeous mascara.
If you’re looking for lashes that are full of drama, volume and length, then you’ll absolutely love this formula. The mascara is actually quite a wet formula, so for all you messy mascara appliers out there, you might struggle with this a little. For all you seasoned pros, I think you’ll really enjoy the texture of the mascara wand (described as a multi-bristle flutter brush with a collection of bristles in differing sizes designed to catch and coat every lash) combined with the thinner formula that really coats lashes in record time, pulling them up and filling them with mega volume.
The mascara promises 13x more volume in just three coats, but I saw a massive difference in just one coat. The mascara is a mix of waxes and other ingredients that include Marine Glycogen: a new hair tonic that is known to stimulate the growth of the hair follicle and the proliferation of keratin cells, Tamanu Oil to regenerate, protect, nourish and strengthen the lashes and carbon black for a deep, intense colour.
The mascara isn’t waterproof which is usually a deal breaker for me, but when a mascara makes my lashes look that long and full without any falsies, I can definitely make an exception. If you have sensitive eyes that are prone to running, or if you find that your mascara transfers throughout the day, you might want to carefully set your under-eye concealer before applying the mascara to minimise the chances of that happening.
The mascara retails at £25 and can be found here.
