One Look Makeup Lesson with Scarlett

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Scarlett, a 12 year old with a passion for YouTube and makeup! Scarlett runs her own YouTube channel with her sister Izzy and wanted to learn a few tips and tricks on makeup application to share with her subscribers, so she booked in for my One Look Makeup Lesson that’s currently on special offer.

As Scarlett is only 12, she was accompanied to the studio with her mum who was equally as lovely and an absolute pleasure to meet too.

Scarlett wanted to learn how to create flawless skin (her skin is gorgeous anyway but she had a few blemishes that she wanted to cover) along with a soft smokey eye. She also wanted to learn how to define her eyebrows which are lovely and full, but as they’re blond, Scarlett struggles to get them noticed. We went for a beautiful golden and brown smokey and kept things ultra soft to make sure the look was age appropriate and added a soft cool brown brow that was a perfect match to complement her hair.

For Scarlett’s skin, I used my old faithful MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation to create the perfect base and sheered it out a little with a beauty blender to keep the coverage natural.

A soft peachy blush, slick of highlight and peach lip later, we had the perfect, age appropriate look for Scarlett!

I was so pleased to hear that Scarlett loved her lesson and that she learned lots of new tips and tricks. It also made me laugh that she immediately got to work in taking her mum and dad around the shops to purchase some new beauty goodies and brushes too!
