There’s just something so exciting about a lookfantastic Beauty Box delivery. If you’re a subscriber, I’m sure you’ll know what I mean. There’s something decadent and luxurious about ordering a little box of surprise beauty goodies just for you each and every month. Call it indulgent or call it self care (I think it’s a bit of both), but it’s little delights like this that keep me sane.

This is lookfantastic’s 5th Birthday Edition beauty box which means it’s just that extra bit special. Another super exciting thing that I found in the box this month is the announcement to welcome the lookfantastic Advent Calendar (which looks absolutely divine – check out this sneak peek I found if you don’t mind a full spoiler!) along with a £15 discount code. I don’t know about you, but I’m so ready for the autumn/winter build-up. I can’t deny that I’m much more of an autumn girl than a summer girl, but I must admit that I have enjoyed some of those beautifully sunny days this August very much.

Anyway, back to the box. I had a few little hopes for the contents of the box this time – one of which was a big hope that some sort of skin cleanser would be included. My next hope was for an eye cream or a moisturiser. Lady Luck was certainly on my side as when I opened the box, I found both of my hoped-for products inside!

This is what I love about the lookfantastic beauty box. I feel that the LF team really nail the products each month and seem to send me just what I need. What’s more, the Beauty Box magazine which comes with every box is always a lovely read – especially when paired with a hot cup of Earl Grey tea. Delicious.

The value of the box this month is an incredible £63.83 – how fantastic is that considering the box starts from just £13 per month?

As always, I really enjoyed sitting down for half an hour to film my thoughts on the lookfantastic Beauty Box for this month. When you think about it, it’s so strange that so many of us sit in a room talking to a camera enthusiastically about beauty products, isn’t it? I never thought I’d quite get used to it, but there’s something so comforting about the whole process. What’s better than sitting down with your friends and sharing a common love for all things beauty? I wouldn’t have it any other way!
